Lady Gaga Surprises Fans With Intimate Arena Shows for The Mayhem Ball World Tour

Update: April 22, 2025 — Lady Gaga has now added an Australian leg (Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney) and California (San Francisco and Los Angeles) dates to the Mayhem Ball tour. She as not performed in Australia since her 2014 ArtRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball Tour.

March 26, 2025 — Beloved popstar Lady Gaga has announced surprise tour dates following the enthusiastic public reception of her seventh studio album, Mayhem, which was released earlier this month. In an Instagram post, she explained that she was not planning on touring this year after her standalone shows in Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, and Coachella Music Festival– her second time headlining since 2017. However, she has now decided to organize a last-minute tour with Live Nation due to the love the album has received.
Following the years-long tradition of including “Ball” in every tour name, the aptly titled Mayhem Ball Tour is set to take off in Las Vegas this July. Instead of returning to stadium venues like her previous Chromatica Ball Tour, she will be performing in arenas. “We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can’t in stadiums…” she stated in her Instagram caption.
Many Little Monsters—as she nicknamed her fans years ago—have expressed their excitement for the more intimate venue shows with eccentric and interactive stage designs reminiscent of her earlier tours. Meanwhile, others are concerned that the arena venues will not be big enough to meet the overwhelming demand for tickets. A few pre-sales are already scheduled for the upcoming days and anxiety levels are high.
Another surprising part about this tour announcement is the lack of dates in Los Angeles (Coachella doesn’t really count as one.) Looks like LA Monsters are in for a fun road trip to Las Vegas or Seattle if they want to catch this tour. Of course, Gaga is already receiving an abundance of comments requesting more tour dates in other cities. We’ll see what happens!
